OUR PROJECTS IN THE SPOTLIGHT: EDUCATION
Young talents on the go!
ChargeUp Summer School 2.0 in Croatia is a continuation of a 2025 project that contributes to closing the knowledge gap within the area of energy efficient urban mobility by raising the abilities of RIS university students – as future urban mobility professionals – to implement and leverage new technologies, additionally strengthening their capacities to act as innovators and entrepreneurs with greater social awareness.
The Summer School builds on the knowledge triangle integration practices by engaging academia, businesses, industry and cities. It is designed as a combination of a challenge-based courses and study trips. One of the strongest point of ChargeUp is an active engagement and support of industry, that will enable first-hand exchange between the participants and local energy and mobility champions.
We are implementing this project during 2026 and 2027 with an experienced partner – REGEA, supported by EIT Urban Mobility.
The Call for Students will be published in late February 2026 and remain open for two months.

She Creates Change
The She Creates Change project builds capacity in innovation and entrepreneurship by addressing gender gaps in urban mobility across RIS regions.
It integrates two flagship initiatives: Girls Code Camp, expanding a proven STREAM-based programme into two summer camps for 40 girls in Croatia and Women for Impact, newly developed initiative with two gamified 3-week learning cycles for 40 women from diverse sectors, fostering leadership, creativity, and systems thinking for mobility innovation.
Implemented in several cycles during 2026 by ERKON and Poduzetnički centar Krapinsko-zagorske županije, the project equips girls and women with technical, creative, and leadership skills to act as future innovators and change-makers, advancing diversity and inclusion in the mobility ecosystem.
The Call for Participants will be published in April. Stay tuned!
ChargeUp 2.0 and SheCreatesChange are supported by EIT Urban Mobility, an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union. EIT Urban Mobility acts to accelerate positive change on mobility to make urban spaces more liveable. Learn more: eiturbanmobility.eu
