We have been awarded the EIT Label for three of our programmes

ChargeUp 2.0, our upgraded summer school programme, has been awarded the EIT Label by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). The same label has also been awarded to two of our programmes, Women for Impact and Girls Code Camp, developed under the She Creates Change project.
The EIT Label is a recognised European quality mark that confirms a programme meets the standards of one of Europe’s leading innovation ecosystems. This distinction recognises the quality of the programmes, their methodology, and the learning experience they provide, while supporting the development of innovation, entrepreneurship, and professional skills.
What does this mean for the participants of our programmes?
Participants who successfully complete either programme receive a certificate carrying the official EIT Label designation, giving their achievements additional international recognition.
The EIT Label adds value to their learning experience through:
- Recognition of the certificate across Europe
- Stronger credibility with employers and educational institutions
- Access to a wider European network of innovators, entrepreneurs, and emerging talent
- Enhanced opportunities for future career development
For us at ERKON, this recognition confirms the consistency and quality behind both programmes and the standards we aim to uphold in everything we deliver.
It reflects a challenging and highly structured development process that required time, attention to detail, and continuous fine-tuning. From programme design and methodology, communication, delivery, and participant experience, each element not only aligned with but also exceeded the expectations of the EIT Label standards.
We exceeded our target, with almost 200 applications received for ChargeUp 2.0, double what we initially aimed for. We are still collecting applications for the remaining two labelled programmes .
Following the success of previous editions, the successful accreditation further strengthens our position within the European innovation and education landscape and reflects our ongoing commitment to creating meaningful, future-oriented learning experiences.
“Receiving the EIT Label is a meaningful milestone for us. It reflects the commitment behind our work and the standards we set for ourselves, and it encourages us to keep building programmes that create real opportunities for people, especially young people, to grow, learn, and lead.”
— said Petra Grgasović, CEO, ERKON
As our programmes continue to grow, this achievement reinforces our dedication to equipping participants with the skills, confidence, and connections needed to make a lasting impact.
