We have selected the Women for Impact 2026 participants!

We are proud to congratulate all the selected participants of the inaugural Women for Impact programme, whose applications, experience, and motivation have earned them a place in this unique initiative!
A total of 42 participants from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina have been selected in June to take part in a three-week educational and practical programme focused on developing leadership competencies, entrepreneurial thinking, and a deeper understanding of sustainability and gender inclusion in urban environments.
Women for Impact is dedicated to empowering women, strengthening leadership skills, and creating opportunities for learning, networking, and the exchange of experiences among current and future women leaders. Through interactive workshops, mentoring, teamwork, and peer learning, participants will work on real-life challenges from their communities while developing practical initiatives aimed at creating positive social change. The programme is designed to equip them with the knowledge, tools, and support network needed to transform socially valuable ideas into projects with lasting impact.
The programme will be delivered in two cohorts. The first cohort will run from 14 September to 4 October, including a five-day residential programme in Lovran, while the second cohort will take place from 5 to 25 October, with its residential component held in Tuheljske Toplice. Each cohort begins with an intensive week of in-person learning, networking, and collaborative work. This is followed by two weeks of online activities, allowing participants to continue developing their initiatives while maintaining collaboration and exchanging ideas with their peers.
Women for Impact is the result of six months of dedicated work to create a programme that offers women a meaningful step forward. Our ambition is to continue the programme, expand its reach and keep the Women for Impact community alive, enabling even more women to contribute to a more sustainable future. At ERKON, we believe in designing and delivering programmes that empower women and young people, encourage new perspectives, and contribute to positive societal change. That is why we deeply value everything that Women for Impact represents, as well as the community we are beginning to build through this programme, with the funding and support of EIT Urban Mobility.
